Get in Touch

Jones County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Contact the originating agency directly for those answers.

Where to Ask First

Use the office that created or holds the record. The current county pages do not show a public booking roster or photo feed, so call before traveling or sending a detailed request.

Jones County Sheriff’s Office

792 Highway 58 South
Trenton, NC 28585
252-448-0035
Fax: 252-448-1693
Directory-listed 24-hour non-emergency: 252-559-6118, confirm current number

Jones County Detention Center

Official pages show 252-448-7091 and 252-565-4899 in different contact contexts. Confirm the current booking and custody line before relying on either number. The facility is listed at 101 S. Market Street, Trenton, NC 28585.

County administration lists Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon. Those administrative hours are not a promise about detention operations. The jail’s page identifies administrator Jason Jarman and displays an extension in its staff context.

Choose the Right Records Office

  • For a Jones County booking photo, booking sheet, intake record, release record, or bond field, start with the sheriff or detention center and make a specific Chapter 132 request.
  • For a Maysville police report, contact Maysville Police at 404 Main Street, Maysville, NC 28555, 910-743-3104. The town schedule lists police reports at $5.
  • For a hearing, case number, or disposition, contact the Jones County Courthouse, 101 Market Street, Trenton, NC 28585, 252-448-6220, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • For state prison, probation, parole, or historical state corrections records, use the NC DAC offender search.
  • For status notifications, use NC SAVAN through VINELink. It is not a photo source.
  • For federal custody, use the BOP locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE locator.

Before Sending a Request

The county pages do not publish a dedicated booking-photo form, a fixed photo fee, a named records email, or a fixed response deadline. Include the full legal name, approximate booking date or range, arresting agency, booking number if known, and the exact record requested. Ask whether a photo exists and is releasable, what will be redacted, and whether copy or media costs apply.

The county booking page explains the request path and the difference between county custody, state supervision, federal custody, and court records. A charge at intake is an accusation, not a conviction.
